The Soul Alliance featuring CocoSoul
Have an event? Want to get down? This is the band. Dirty Lynt- drums, vocals, programming; Hollabass-bass; Mo E- keys and beats and featuring the amazing CocoSoul on vocals. Find us through Doug Hall with Talent Plus. 314. 421. 9400
mo E trio- time to lead from the keys . Soul-jazz, house, ambient, downtempo, Bossa, roots and swing. All done trio style. mo E trio debuted January 2010 at Lola. Thanks to John Evans Jr. for much of the video footage and photography on the Youtube clips below.
Urban Groov Project (UG Project) allows me to continue to genre blend with some deep live soulful house and electronica. Featuring DJ Nune (Lamar Harris) on horns, keys and vocals. Duane "Jingo" Williams on percussion. Frequent guest vocals from the fabulous Mr. C Jay Conrod. www.ugproject.com.
I also play with Lamar Harris and the L. I'm an auxiliary member of Lamar's band so check the calendar for performances. Drummer Jason "Dirty Lynt" Moore (also with Soul Alliance) and Charles "Buddy" Quarells (bass/drums) are not to be missed.
I'm also excited to add Americana to my style palette with Brothers Lazaroff
Brothers Lazaroff has been humming along since we rocked showcases in 2009 at South By Southwest (Austin) and Twangfest (Austin and STL). We've also been featured on two KDHX singer songwriter showcases featuring the music of : Warren Zevon and Townes VanZandt.
Roots, rock, and Americana- great songwriting and harmony on all levels. February 2010 we began studio work on a new album. March 2010 finds us back in Austin for SXSW including a spot on KDHX's Twangfest Showcase at Jovita's and a Sunday show on the way out of town at Jo's Coffee. Dig it!
Mo E's Groov Lounge
The Groov Lounge is a new spin on the solo piano set. Using a blend of MIDI sequencing, samples, F/X units and live keyboards I create grooves to manipulate and improvise over. Its similar to techniques I developed for mo & dawn and continue to use as a part of UG Project. I will often feature guests including Jingo Williams on percussion and David Lazaroff on vocals and guitar.
Mowinda (Reverbnation site) is a duo featuring violinist Twinda Murry and Maurice "Mo" Egeston on piano/keyboards. Repertoire includes traditional violin/piano literature as well as chamber versions of standards and popular literature. The duo also collaborates twice a year with studio recitals at Steinway Piano Gallery.
Check back for frequent updates.
