Brothers Lazaroff @ Just One Big Soul: Woody Guthrie 100th Birthday Party, Tribute and 88.1 KDHX Benefit - 8 PM

3511 Lemp Ave St. Louis MO 63118 US 314-773-3363 [map]

It's safe to say that no songwriter in American music has had a wider or deeper influence than Woodrow Wilson Guthrie. Without him there would be no Dylan or Springsteen or Haggard, no alternative folk or Americana, and rock & roll and country music just wouldn't be the same. His songs still resonate today because they still speak to the real lives of real people everywhere.

The year 2012 marks the centennial of Woody Guthrie's birth, and July 14 is Woody's 100th birthday. In celebration of his life and music, 88.1 KDHX presents this tribute night and birthday party, featuring a host of St. Louis artists and bands, all performing some of Woody's greatest songs.

When: Saturday, July 14. Doors 7 p.m. Show 8 p.m.

Where: Off Broadway Nightclub. 3509 Lemp. St. Louis 63118.
